Abuse of Authority

One of the major concerns for the general public is when a police officer abuses the extraordinary powers he has over his fellow citizen. This is especially so when the victim of abuse of authority is a respectable member of society with no previous adverse contact with the police.

The first case we highlight here, Halifax woman Rachel Wickings,  is yet another public complaint that ended at Leeds High Court. But, like almost every other, ended in failure to defeat a legal system very much geared in favour of the police and the wholly inept IPCC.
